Year 11 NCS after-school opportunity - November/December

As you are will be aware over the last two years we have all experienced disruption and we are planning multiple interventions to ensure your child leaves us at the end of Year 11 with the best possible outcomes. Your child has already shown their dedication and commitment when it comes to our after-school Enrichment sessions, alongside their effort in lessons, and as a result we are delighted to invite them to take part, along with a select number of other Year 11 students, in a series of Skills Booster Sessions provided by the National Citizen Service (NCS). The NCS is a well established, national organisation with the aim to engage, unite and empower young people, building their confidence so they can go out and achieve their dreams, no matter where they're from or what their background is. From the life skills they develop to the friends they make, giving them an opportunity to unleash their potential, to build their self-belief and get them prepped for life after school.
The sessions will take place on Tuesday afternoons starting at 1.30pm finishing at 4.30pm, as this is an extension to the school day, and normal Enrichment time, we would like to reward the students who take part with free pizza refreshments. There will also be a further reward for those students who complete all 5 sessions.
