We have been very happy with the conduct of Year 11 during the GCSE examinations so far, with two weeks still to go. We’ve had huge, record turnouts each day for our 7.30am Revision Sessions (followed by a bacon buttie) ahead of each morning’s GCSE examination. Our hard working students appear to have appreciated those sessions, alongside all the other support on offer, including support during after-school enrichment and masterclasses before afternoon examinations too. Thank you SO much for your support in encouraging attendance at such opportunities, and for your help with earlier transport to school.
We still have some examinations for the whole of Year 11 in Science, and also a number of Option subjects too. However, we are conscious that there are now a number of subjects, including Maths and English, where all exams have been completed.
Year 11 will still have the majority of their time in school between now and the final GCSE, but will follow a mixture of revision breakfasts, masterclasses, GCSE examinations and study leave for the remaining two weeks.

If your child would prefer to study in school we will provide facilities for this to happen within our library/LRC.
If your child qualifies for a free-school meal and is due to leave before lunch, they are more than welcome to collect a cold packed lunch grab bag.
Thank you for your ongoing support during this examination season; it is very much appreciated.
