Arrangements for GCSE Results Day 2022

Dear Year 11 Parent/Carer
I write with more details about the arrangements for GCSE Results Day that is on Thursday 25 August. Students can come into the Auditorium, via the entrance outside Reception, between 9.00am and 10.30am. Parents are of course welcome to come along too, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone together one last time to celebrate with peers and staff.
Students who are unable to collect their results can nominate a friend or family member to collect them on their behalf. A signed letter from the student confirming that they give permission for their results to be collected must be provided on the day and the nominated person must bring a form of photographic identification (eg passport or driving licence) with them.
If your child is likely to be sending in a nominated person, please can you indicate this by sending an email to Mr Galloway, our Exams & Assessment Officer on r.galloway@normanby.outwood.com as soon as possible. GCSE results will not be released to nominated persons without the signed letter and photographic ID.
Please note that because of the above, no results can be given out over the telephone or by email under any circumstances.
Any results that haven’t been collected by 10.30am will be posted to the student at the home address we have on file.
